The Celestial Church of Christ Clergy Insurance Scheme is basically aimed at providing financial succour to the dependants of the Clergy of the church after their demise and the sum benefit is N1.7 (One Million Seven Hundred Thousand Naira).
His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, has directed all Clergy of the church and their spouses to enroll in the scheme.
The 5% monthly welfare deduction is an offshoot of the Pastor’s ingenuity to provide a pool of funds to take care of the needs of C.C.C. Clergy while they are still alive. This includes aged Clergy, those with terminal ailments, those awaiting postings and also for their general well-being.
Please note that the poor response; particularly from the mega parishes of the Celestial Church of Christ, has been a major concern. His Eminence has expressed his disappointment, as regards this development, which is a threat to the fulfilment of the scheme’s purpose. So far, only about 60 parishes have complied.
Be informed that the new year, 2024, would witness the unveiling of an appropriate Health Insurance Scheme for all Clergy of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
